01 / Mentions
See when AI talks about your brand
Every answer is checked for your name and for links to your site. Direct mentions show the AI knows your brand; indirect ones show it trusts your pages as a source.
Placton asks ChatGPT and Google AI the questions your customers ask every day, and Claude, Perplexity and Grok every week. Then it shows you who appears, where and why.

AI assistants are quickly becoming the place where people discover brands. When someone asks for a product, a service or a supplier, they get a short answer with a few names, and if yours isn't there you never find out. Placton is the GEO tool that shows where your brand appears, how you compare with your rivals and what to do next to show up more often.
What's the best project management tool for a remote team?
ChatGPT
For a remote team, three tools stand out. Notion works well if you want docs and tasks together. Asana is the strongest for planning across time zones, with timelines and workload views. monday.com suits teams that like simple boards.
Claude
If your team is fully remote, Asana is a safe first choice: it handles async updates, dependencies and goals well. monday.com is easier to set up for simple workflows, and Notion fits teams that document a lot.
Perplexity
The options most recommended for remote teams are Notion, monday.com and ClickUp, mainly for their flexible boards and async features. Most guides stress clear ownership and a weekly review.

A ranking of visibility and average position for you and your competitors, updated every day with ChatGPT and Google AI, so you know who the AI picks first and where you are losing ground.

Ready as soon as you sign up, included in the free trial.
A really useful tool for analyzing brand visibility across AI platforms. The interface is intuitive and makes it easy to see which queries mention your brand, which competitors have greater visibility, and what sources AI platforms rely on. A great way to understand how your business is positioned in AI search.
We work in SEO and were looking for a tool to track our clients' visibility in ChatGPT and other AI search platforms. Placton lets us monitor queries, analyze competitors, and identify opportunities for improvement in one place. It's especially useful for agencies looking to add GEO to their services.
Really easy to use and has everything I need. I especially like being able to track where my website appears in AI search results and compare it with competitors.

A GEO (generative engine optimization) tool shows how AI assistants answer the questions your customers ask: whether they mention your brand, in what position, with what tone, which competitors they recommend instead and which sources they cite.
Placton is a GEO tool: it asks ChatGPT and Google AI every day and Claude, Perplexity and Grok every week, stores every answer and turns it into visibility, position, sentiment, competitor and source data, plus weekly improvements to make.
Yes. AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO are two names for the same goal: being the brand that AI assistants name and cite. Placton measures exactly that across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity and Grok, and runs a free 18-point audit of how ready your site is for AI answers.
You sign up and add your website. From there we suggest competitors and the questions (prompts) your customers tend to ask. You review the list, remove or add whatever you like, and confirm.
From then on Placton sends those prompts to the AI platforms (ChatGPT and Google AI every day; Claude, Perplexity and Grok every week), stores each answer and analyses it: whether you appear, in what position, with what tone, next to whom and with which sources. You see all of it in your dashboard.
A direct mention is when the AI writes your brand name in its answer. An indirect mention is when the AI uses a page from your website as a source, and links to it, without naming you in the text.
We count them separately because they mean different things: a direct mention shows the AI knows your brand, an indirect one shows it trusts your content even if it does not recommend you by name yet.
ChatGPT (we read the answer a person sees on chatgpt.com), Claude, Google AI (the AI Overviews shown in Google results, with Gemini as a backup), Perplexity and Grok.
ChatGPT and Google AI are tracked every day; Claude, Perplexity and Grok, every week. In the few markets where chatgpt.com cannot be read, we ask ChatGPT through its API once a week. Your workspace settings show how often each AI is tracked in yours.
It depends on the AI. ChatGPT and Google AI are asked every day; Claude, Perplexity and Grok, once a week. Each AI searches the web just like it does for a real user. “Run now” measures your new prompts right away, along with anything still missing this week on Claude, Perplexity and Grok.
AI answers change from one day to the next. That is why we ask ChatGPT and Google AI every day, and why the trend over several days matters more than any single answer.
Yes. You get 7 days free, with no card, up to 10 prompts and the audit of your site included.
On the day you sign up we ask all 5 AI platforms. After that, ChatGPT and Google AI are asked again every day while you keep visiting your dashboard; Claude, Perplexity and Grok, only that first time. The trial includes one “Run now”.
When it ends you choose a plan to keep going. If you do not, tracking stops and you are not charged anything.
Yes, there is no minimum term. Go to Workspace settings, open Billing and choose «Cancel at the end of the period». You keep access until then.
You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Yes, on paid plans. During the free trial the workspace is just for you.
The subscription and its limits (prompts and members) belong to each workspace. If you look after several brands or clients, you can have one workspace for each, each with its own plan and team.
