Scalenut alternatives

The best Scalenut alternatives depend on which job you want done better. To track more AIs, Placton covers five from $59 a month, where Scalenut’s $59 plan covers two, though it replaces the tracking and not the article engine. For a similar all-in-one, Frase from $39 billed yearly. For bulk articles, Koala from $25.

Scalenut alternatives by AI answers a month

Scalenut now leads with AI tracking, so start with a count we did not find on any page we read: prompts, times AIs, times how often each is asked. At $59, that is about 1,440 answers a month on Placton and about 80 on Scalenut.

AI answers a month by plan, our math from what each maker lists, read November 2, 2026

SurferStandard$119$99 billed yearly10025 prompts on ChatGPT only, weekly. Its first plan with tracking

The count is not the whole story. Frase and Writesonic sit close to Placton on volume. The difference is the list of AIs: Claude, Perplexity and Grok come with Placton’s first plan, and those two keep them for higher tiers. Rankability lists 11 AIs from $97 without saying how its 100 queries split, so we left it out of the bars.

Why Scalenut still sells. Its price pays for articles, not answers. Plus gives 30 a month for $89, and three times that on its yearly deal. If articles are what you need, staying may be the right call.

Answers are our math: prompts × AIs × 30 if daily, × 4 if weekly. Writesonic’s figure is its own. * On paid plans. ChatGPT is read on chatgpt.com in every country Placton tracks except Venezuela and Puerto Rico, where it is asked weekly through its API.

What Placton will not take over. Bulk articles, optimizing pages you already published, keyword clusters, site-wide audits, WordPress or Shopify publishing, backlinks and Reddit. If that is why you pay for Scalenut, start with Frase or Writesonic. “Alternative” only fits Placton for the tracking half.

The usual reasons teams replace Scalenut

Scalenut was a content workspace first, and tracking came later. These six gaps come from its own pages, plus what its buyers post. None of them makes it a bad product. They make it a poor fit for some jobs.

  • Two AIs until the $199 plan

Starter and Plus track ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. Perplexity joins on Professional, at $199 a month or $70 on the yearly deal. Scalenut’s FAQ says more engines will be added over time, with no date.

  • One pass a week, on every plan

All three plans list a weekly refresh, and paying more does not change it. AI answers move between runs, so four passes a month make a thin sample. That is why margins of error matter when you read a tracker.

  • Claude, Gemini and Grok sit in a managed service

Only VIP Service names them, on a page that says ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Grok. You cannot add them to a software plan. VIP means strategists and writers working for you: its pricing table says Custom, and its FAQ says engagements start at $399 a month.

  • Five articles at the list price

Month to month, Starter gives 5 articles for $59, or $11.80 each. The next step is 30 for $89, about $2.97 each. The low per-article prices quoted around the web need the yearly deal.

  • The good price is a year up front

The 65% deal only exists on yearly plans: $252, $372 or $840 in one payment. Its FAQ calls these purchases non-refundable. People who want to keep their options open are stuck with $59, $89 and $199.

  • A few billing and support complaints

Some Trustpilot (opens in a new tab) reviewers report a yearly charge they did not expect, trouble cancelling or slow replies. The latest we saw is from August 2025. These are individual accounts we did not verify, and the fuller picture is below.

What Scalenut sells in November 2026

Many lists still describe an AI writer with a keyword tool. Its own site now calls it a GEO platform, and the pricing page opens each plan with prompts rather than articles.

The software has four parts. AI Visibility tracks mentions, prompt coverage, share against rivals, cited sources and visits from AI bots. The GEO Action Center holds the writing side: an article writer with a fast Cruise Mode, a content optimizer, a keyword planner, a content audit and a link manager. Social Upreach watches Reddit. A Backlinks Marketplace sells links.

The service is separate. VIP Service is done for you: a senior strategist, writers, editors and AI agents, with backlinks and a monthly technical audit. That page is where the wider list of AIs appears, along with a claim of real-time tracking, so do not read it as part of the plans.

What its site leaves out. We did not sign up, so we describe what its site says. Its pages do not explain how it collects answers from each AI, and we found no statement on whether you can read the full answer, what tone it records, which countries it measures or what you can export.

  • $252

for a year of Starter on the deal, in one payment. Plus is $372 and Professional $840.

  • 3×

articles, optimized articles, clusters, audit pages, AI images and add-ons.

  • 1×

tracked prompts, AIs and refresh. 10, 25 and 100 prompts stay as they are, once a week.

  • $0.34

per article on Plus with the deal, against $2.97 at list. On articles it is very cheap.

Four things to check before you pay

  • The refund. The deal’s FAQ says these purchases are non-refundable. Its terms add that there are no refunds once the trial is over, though you can write in if you never used the platform.
  • The renewal. The page does not say what you pay in year two. We could not find it anywhere, so ask.
  • The trial. The 7-day button shows only on the monthly tab. On the yearly tab, the one you land on, the button sells the deal. Try first, then decide on the year.
  • The clock. It says “limited time” and “limited slots” with no end date. Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026, so these figures may not last long after this date.

Why no two lists agree on its price

The pages we read quote entry prices of $20, $24, $30, $39 and $49. Those are older promotions or older plans, from 2024 up to this summer. On , the only figures on its pricing page were $59, $89 and $199, and $21, $31 and $70 on the deal.

Two more claims to discount. “Scalenut tracks five AIs” is true only of VIP Service. And tracking plans at $49 and $249 with daily refresh and Claude, which some lists repeat, sit in hidden blocks of its page code: a visitor does not see them, at any width we tried.

* On paid plans. ChatGPT is read on chatgpt.com in every country Placton tracks except Venezuela and Puerto Rico, where it is asked weekly through its API. Answers are our math from each plan’s prompts, AIs and refresh, not a figure the makers publish, except for Writesonic. Each plan’s price also pays for everything else in it, so do not read this as the cost of tracking alone.

At the same $59. Placton Starter asks 20 prompts on five AIs, for about 1,440 answers. Scalenut Starter asks 10 on two AIs, for about 80. Both come with 5 articles at that price. On Scalenut, the 15 articles need the yearly deal.

Scalenut’s best tracking buy. Professional on the deal: 100 prompts on three AIs for $70 a month, about 1,200 answers. A year costs $840 up front, against $602 for Placton Starter and $1,316 for Growth, which gives 5,400 answers on five AIs.

Where others out-count Placton. Frase Starter gives 1,200 answers for $10 less, on two AIs. Surfer’s tracker-only plan gives about 7,500 for $95, on five AIs without Claude or Grok. Placton’s case is the list of AIs from the first plan, with a published method.

Scalenut competitors in detail

Seven Scalenut alternatives, with what each one takes over and where it falls short. Everything comes from each maker’s pricing page on , and we did not sign up for any of them.

  • AI tracker with a writer

    PlactonOur product

    $59/ month

Or $602 a year, about $50.17 a month. Then $129 for Growth and $299 for Scale.

Best for: Teams that bought Scalenut to see what AI says about them and already have a way to write and publish. Five AIs from the first plan, and a draft for each question where you are missing.

Weak point: It is not a content engine: 5, 15 or 40 texts a month, no live SEO score, no keyword clusters, no WordPress or Shopify publishing, no backlinks or Reddit tools, no data exports and no API. Claude, Perplexity and Grok run weekly.

    Takes over
Scalenut’s AI tracking, and a small part of its writing. Not its article volume, optimizer, clusters or site audit.
    You get
20 prompts, 5 written texts a month and 2 team members. Growth: 75 prompts, 15 texts, 10 members. Scale: 250 prompts, 40 texts, unlimited members.
    AIs
ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity and Grok. Daily* on the first two, weekly on the other three.
    Try it
7 days, no card, up to 10 prompts and 1 text. When it ends, tracking stops and you pay nothing.

    All Placton plans

  • Editor and AI tracking

    Frase

    $39/ month

Billed yearly. $49 appears struck through, which looks like the monthly price. Larger plans: $103 and $239 billed yearly.

Best for: Anyone who likes the idea of one workspace and wants tracking refreshed every day. It is the product closest to Scalenut, and every AI we asked named it.

Weak point: Its Starter tracks two AIs, the same two as Scalenut’s. Trustpilot showed 3.7 out of 5 from 68 reviews on the day we read it.

    Takes over
Nearly all of it: research, writing, scoring, publishing and tracking
    You get
10, 40 or 100 articles, 20, 50 or 75 prompts; publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity and Wix
    AIs

    Writesonic

    $99/ month

$79 billed yearly. Basic is $249 and Growth $499 ($199 and $399 billed yearly).

Best for: Teams that need more prompts than articles: 50 on Starter against Scalenut’s 10, refreshed daily rather than weekly.

Weak point: It costs more than Scalenut’s Plus and gives half the articles. Its page lists 50 answers a day on 50 prompts across three AIs, which does not add up, so ask what you really get.

    Takes over
    Articles, site audits and tracking

  • Content editor and AI tracker

    Surfer

    $59/ month

$49 billed yearly, with no AI tracking. Standard at $119 tracks ChatGPT weekly; Pro at $219 tracks five AIs daily.

Best for: Writers who spend their day in an editor and want a score that moves as they type. Every AI we asked named it too.

Weak point: The cheapest plan tracks nothing. ChatGPT alone costs $119, and the trial asks for payment details.

    Takes over
The editor and optimizer; tracking only on the larger plans
    You get
120 to 360 documents a year, a live Content Score, WordPress and Google Docs from Standard
    AIs

  • Content editor

    NeuronWriter

    $23/ month

    Then $45, $69, $93 and $117. Yearly billing gives 2 months free.

Best for: Solo writers and small sites that want guidance from the top of Google for the lowest bill on this page.

Weak point: Tracking is a token: 5 to 20 questions unless you buy the add-on. The Gold plan at $69 is where WordPress, Shopify and team members come in.

    Takes over
    The editor and term guidance
    You get
    25 to 150 documents, 2 to 50 projects, 5 to 20 AI questions
    AIs

  • Bulk article writer

    Koala

    $25/ month

Then $49, $99 and up. Annual billing saves 20%.

Best for: Publishers who want long articles pushed to their site for as little as possible, with no scoring step in between.

Weak point: No AI tracking on its pricing page. Plans count words, so 45,000 is about 30 articles of 1,500 words by our math.

  • Content and AI tracking for agencies

    Rankability

    $97/ month

    Then $297 and $497. Yearly billing is $970, $2,970 and $4,970.

Best for: Agencies: unlimited clients and seats, API and MCP access, and 11 AIs listed on every plan, which is longer than any other list here.

Weak point: $97 a month with a card to start the trial, and it does not say how 100 queries split across 11 AIs. It also came up as a source: three of the five AI answers below cite its own list.

    Takes over
Content projects and tracking, for client work

* On paid plans. ChatGPT is read on chatgpt.com in every country Placton tracks except Venezuela and Puerto Rico, where it is asked weekly through its API.

Also on most lists. Clearscope ($129) suits editorial teams that grade drafts, with unlimited users. MarketMuse is for topic planning and publishes no paid price. Jasper ($69 a seat) is about brand copy more than search, and Semrush makes sense if you already pay for its suite.

If you only want to measure. Dedicated trackers skip the writing altogether. Peec AI starts at $95 and Otterly.AI at $29, and we compare both with Placton plan by plan: Peec AI and Otterly.AI. For more plans in that range, see our list under $100 a month.

New autopilot tools. Grok’s answer below names Lymwave, Seonix and theStacc, and Orchly ranks high for this search. All four sell automated publishing or agents and write their own comparison pages. We have not read their pricing pages, so they are not in the tables above.

Scalenut vs Frase, Surfer, NeuronWriter and Writesonic

People search these pairs by name, so here is the short verdict on each, using list prices unless we say otherwise.

  • Scalenut vs Frase

At the entry level Frase costs $10 less a month, gives twice the articles (10 against 5) and tracks 20 prompts a day against 10 a week, on the same two AIs. Scalenut answers with price: on its deal, Plus gives 90 articles for $31 a month. It also has backlinks and Reddit tools, which we did not see on Frase’s page. Frase lists an API, and Scalenut says it has none.

  • Scalenut vs Surfer

Surfer sells the editor first: live guidance and a score, with tracking only from $119. Scalenut includes tracking from $59, and from Plus up it gives more articles for the money. Surfer gets ahead on the top plans, where $219 buys 50 prompts on five AIs daily, against 100 prompts on three AIs weekly for $199. Neither tracks Claude or Grok on a software plan.

  • Scalenut vs NeuronWriter

NeuronWriter starts at $23 with 25 documents, against $59 and 5 articles. On its deal Scalenut’s $21 comes close, with 15 articles and a year paid up front. Scalenut publishes to WordPress and Shopify from $89, and NeuronWriter connects them from $69. Neither goes deep on tracking at the entry level: NeuronWriter monitors 5 questions and Scalenut 10 prompts.

  • Scalenut vs Writesonic

For $99 Writesonic gives 50 prompts daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, with 15 articles and one user. For $89 Scalenut Plus gives 25 prompts weekly on two AIs, with 30 articles and four team members. Pick by which number you care about. Writesonic keeps Perplexity for Enterprise, and Scalenut has it on Professional.

Two tools for what one Scalenut plan costs

Scalenut bundles jobs that specialists also sell apart. Split them and the list price comes out about even with Plus at $89, with far more tracking. You pay with a second login and a second bill.

When a pair makes sense. When tracking is the reason you are leaving, and you still need steady articles on your site. Koala’s 45,000 words come to about 30 articles of 1,500 words by our math, which is what Scalenut Plus gives. We have not compared the quality of the writing.

When it does not. If you can prepay and two AIs once a week are enough, $31 a month beats every row here. And if you want one login, Frase alone costs less than any pair, with fewer AIs than Placton.

What five AIs name when you ask for Scalenut alternatives

Buyers can now ask this in a chat instead of searching. So on we put the question to ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity and Grok with Placton’s engine, once each. None of the pages we read shows this.

Another started Surfer at $99, which is its Standard plan billed yearly and not its lowest price. Another put MarketMuse at about $99, a price its page does not publish.

One run is a snapshot. One answer per AI on one day, from the United States, in English. Answers change from run to run, which is why Placton repeats each question and reports the margin.

How we asked

  • ChatGPT: read on chatgpt.com, logged out, with web search on, with gpt-6.
  • Google AI Overviews: the AI Overview Google shows above its results.
  • Claude: asked through its API with live web search, with claude-haiku-5-5.
  • Perplexity: asked through its API, which always searches, with sonar.
  • Grok: asked through its API with live web search, with grok-4.3.

We sent the question exactly as shown, with no brand name and no extra instructions. On this run Claude’s web search failed and it said so, so its answer comes from general knowledge and cites nothing. We pulled the names out with Placton’s own extractor and then went through them by hand: one name per maker, in the order each answer gives them, without Scalenut itself. Claude’s ContentShake AI counts under Semrush, which makes it.

Scalenut vs Placton, point by point

The split is clean. Measuring AI answers goes to Placton, and producing content goes to Scalenut. This compares what each side publishes, not the two apps side by side.

From a tracked question to something you can do

Scalenut says most tools stop at metrics and that it goes further. We could not see its version from the inside, so here is ours, on the same question as the reading above.

Writer

A draft built on what the AIs answered

This is the part closest to Scalenut, and also the smallest. Pick a question, ask for an article or a ranking, and it reads the answers, the pages they cite and the searches they run in the background, plus the top of Google and your site. Anything only you know stays as a marked gap, so it will not make up figures or customers. A ranking puts your brand first and says openly that you publish it.

You get 5, 15 or 40 texts a month, in a minute or two each, and you edit in place, then copy or export. It has no term guidance or live SEO score like Scalenut’s, and publishing a text does not guarantee that any AI names you.

Example only: we wrote this draft to show the format, and you fill in the marked gap.

Where you are missing

Every question, AI by AI

Every question you track sits next to every AI, with the ones where no AI brings you up listed first. The colors show how many answers name or cite you: red for none, orange for under half, green for half or more.

Open a count to read those answers and see who appears instead, or start a text for that question from the same row. A brand can hold one AI and miss another, so five in a row show you who takes your place on each one.

Real data: this view for Writesonic on the question above, one reading per AI, November 2, 2026.

Improvements

A few tasks each week, with their evidence

Starter gets 3 tasks a week, Growth 5 and Scale 8, chosen by the code from a closed list of 17 actions. Each one names the pages behind that question, says whether they mention you or your rival, and rates its evidence as strong, medium or a bet.

The next week it reads those pages again to see whether anything changed. Expect small moves: a few points over 8 weeks in answers that search, and little or nothing in closed lists. Nothing gets sent on your behalf.

Example task for Writesonic, drawn by hand to show the format. Those pages are real: the answers above cite them, and we read them on November 2, 2026.

Free Scalenut alternatives, and what the catch is

Google suggests “Scalenut alternatives free” for this search. No tool here gives you the whole package for nothing, but several let you do part of the job or test before paying.

What buyers say about Scalenut

The public record is older than the product you would be buying, and the scores do not match each other.

The Trustpilot figure needs a footnote. On Trustpilot (opens in a new tab) Scalenut showed 3.2 out of 5 from 159 reviews on . The same page shows 87% of those reviews at five stars and 4% at one star, with none in the last 12 months. Trustpilot says the company has not invited customers recently. A TrustScore leans on recent reviews, which is the likely reason for the gap, though we have not verified its math.

What the complaints say. A yearly charge the reviewer did not expect (February 2024), no reply to several emails (March 2024), too many promotional emails (April 2025), trouble cancelling (July 2023), and a refund offered minus 10% after inaccurate article sources (August 2025). Those are one person each, and we did not verify them.

What the praise says. One workspace for research, writing and scoring, a fast first draft through Cruise Mode, an easy start and low prices next to Surfer or Jasper. A 2024 reviewer found it confusing at first but worth learning.

On draft quality, read with care. Reviews from theStacc and Content Assistant, both of which sell writing tools, say drafts need heavy editing, above all on facts. theStacc and FahimAI, a Scalenut affiliate, say its keyword data is thinner than Ahrefs or Semrush. We have not run the writer ourselves.

What is missing. Nearly all these reviews describe the writer Scalenut used to be, and we found no buyer opinion of its AI tracking. Its own site says “Rated 4.8”. We could not open G2 or Capterra to check that, and we could not read Reddit, even though Google suggests “Scalenut alternatives reddit”.

Switching from Scalenut in four steps

Four steps. The first decides whether you are in any hurry at all.

  1. Work out what you already paid for

If you pay month to month, you can move whenever the new tool proves itself. If you bought the yearly deal, Scalenut’s FAQ says it is non-refundable, so use the time you have left to test without any rush.

  2. Save your prompts, rivals and articles

We have not seen Scalenut’s export options from the inside, so check them while your account is open. Keep your list of prompts and competitors in a sheet, and copy finished articles out. Placton cannot import from another tool, and most trackers start your history again.

  3. Run both for one week

Put the same questions into the new tool and compare what each one shows you. Placton gives 7 days with no card and 10 prompts, and Frase gives 7 days with no card. A week also shows you how much your numbers move between runs.

  4. Cancel from My Account

Its help page gives the route: the profile icon at the bottom left, My Account, the Usage tab, then Terminate Subscription at the bottom of Plan & Billing. Some reviewers report trouble here, so keep the confirmation.

When Scalenut is still the better deal

If most of these sound like you, a move will cost more than it saves.

You publish a lot

Nothing on this page matches $31 a month for 90 articles, if you can pay for the year. At list price, 30 articles for $89 is still among the cheapest here.

You improve pages you already have

Its optimizer and Fix It module work on live articles, with a score to chase. Placton writes new texts from AI answers and does not touch what you published.

You plan in keyword clusters

Clusters on every plan, then a planner and cannibalization checks on Professional. If that is how your team decides what to write, a tracker will not replace it.

You want one button to WordPress or Shopify

Auto-publish comes with Plus. Placton hands you a text to copy or export, and you would need Koala or similar to match this.

You want it done for you

VIP Service puts a strategist, writers and editors on your account. It is a different purchase from any tool on this page, and it is the only way to get Scalenut’s five AIs.

Ten weekly prompts really are enough

If you only want a rough signal from ChatGPT and AI Overviews, $252 for the year is a fair price, and more data would go unread.

Scalenut alternatives: common questions

About Placton itself? Read the full FAQs or see every plan and price.

What is the best Scalenut alternative?

It depends on what you use Scalenut for. To track more AIs, Placton covers five from $59, though it has no article engine on Scalenut’s scale. For the same all-in-one idea, Frase starts at $39 billed yearly. For a live editor, Surfer or NeuronWriter. For cheap bulk articles, Koala at $25. All of these prices date from November 2, 2026.

Are there free Scalenut alternatives?

None of the tools we read gives you Scalenut’s features free for good. The closest are Koala’s one-time 5,000 words, Rytr’s free plan of 10,000 characters a month, and MarketMuse’s Free plan with 10 queries. Frase and Placton give 7-day trials with no card, and Placton’s site checks need no signup.

What you can check for free

How much does Scalenut cost?

On November 2, 2026, its pricing page listed Starter at $59, Plus at $89 and Professional at $199 a month. A Black Friday Early Access deal on yearly plans brings them to $21, $31 and $70 a month, or $252, $372 and $840 paid up front. VIP Service is Custom on that page, and the FAQ on its own page says engagements start at $399 a month.

Is Scalenut free? Does it have a free trial?

There is no free plan on its pricing page. It offers 7 days free on Starter, Plus and Professional, with the button on the monthly tab; the yearly tab, which opens first, shows the deal instead. The pricing page does not say whether it asks for a card. One of its free-tool pages says no card details are needed, and outside reviews disagree. We did not sign up.

Is the Scalenut Black Friday deal refundable, and is there a lifetime deal?

The FAQ on its pricing page says purchases under this deal are non-refundable. The deal covers yearly plans, at 65% off with 3 times the content limits, with “limited slots” and no end date on the page. We saw no lifetime plan there on November 2, 2026, and it does not say what price the plan renews at, so ask before you pay.

Which AI platforms does Scalenut track, and how often?

Starter and Plus track ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. Professional adds Perplexity. All three refresh weekly. Its VIP Service page also names Gemini, Claude and Grok, but that is a managed engagement and not a plan you can buy in the app.

Does Scalenut track Claude or Grok?

Not on its software plans. Only VIP Service names them, and that is a managed engagement. Placton tracks both on every plan, weekly, from $59 a month.

Does Scalenut publish to WordPress?

Yes, from Plus at $89: auto-publish to WordPress and Shopify. Starter does not include it. Among the alternatives, Frase publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity and Wix from its first plan, and Koala to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and Ghost. Placton does not publish: you copy the text or export it to HTML, Markdown or Word.

Scalenut vs Frase: which is better?

For tracking and small budgets at list price, Frase: $49 for 20 daily prompts and 10 articles, against $59 for 10 weekly prompts and 5 articles. For article volume on a prepaid year, Scalenut: $31 a month for 90 articles. We have used neither from the inside.

Scalenut vs Surfer SEO: which is better?

Surfer if your writers want a live editor and you can pay for it: tracking starts at $119. Scalenut if you want more articles and some tracking for less: 30 articles and 25 prompts for $89. On the top plans Surfer tracks more often, daily against weekly. Neither covers Claude or Grok in a software plan.

Surfer’s own alternatives

Is Placton a replacement for Scalenut?

For the tracking, yes. For the content engine, no. Placton does not optimize pages for Google, build keyword clusters, audit hundreds of pages or publish to your site, and it writes 5, 15 or 40 texts a month. If you use Scalenut mainly to see what AI says about you, it covers more AIs at the same $59.

See Placton’s plans

Who are Scalenut’s main competitors?

In content platforms, Frase, Surfer, Writesonic, Clearscope, MarketMuse and NeuronWriter. In bulk publishing, Koala and similar autopilot tools. In AI tracking, Placton, Peec AI, Otterly.AI and Profound. Surfer SEO and Frase were the two named by all five AIs we asked.

Which Scalenut alternative suits agencies?

Rankability is built for it: $97 a month with unlimited clients, 100 queries and 11 AIs listed. Placton’s Agency plan is $15 per client plus prompts, $155 a month for 5 clients and 50 prompts, without white label or a combined view. Scalenut Professional itself gives unlimited workspaces for $199.

Placton for agencies

Does a content score guarantee rankings?

No. Scores from any of these tools help you cover a topic, and none of them promises a position in Google or in an AI answer. Scalenut publishes no formula for its GEO Score. Placton’s coverage figure says outright that it does not predict citations.

How did you check all this?

We read each maker’s pricing page on November 2, 2026, and Scalenut’s in a real browser, because its code holds blocks a visitor never sees. We asked five AIs with Placton’s engine. We did not sign up for Scalenut or use its app, and we could not open Reddit, G2 or Capterra. Prices move, so confirm on the official page before you pay.

Which of these Scalenut alternatives to choose

Start from the reason you are leaving. If it is tracking, go with Placton: five AIs and about 1,440 answers a month at the same $59 as Scalenut’s Starter. If you want one workspace with daily tracking, try Frase. For more prompts plus articles, Writesonic. For an editor, Surfer or NeuronWriter. For cheap volume, Koala. For client work across many AIs, Rankability.

And if articles are all you need and you can pay for the year, none of these Scalenut alternatives beats $31 a month for 90 articles. Just read the refund line first.
