GEO tool for agencies: track every client in AI search
A GEO tool for agencies tracks how AI assistants talk about each client brand and turns it into something you can report on and sell. Placton’s Agency plan gives every client its own workspace, competitors and dashboard on five AI platforms, from $77 a month for 3 clients and 20 prompts, under one subscription and one invoice.

A GEO tool built for agencies: one workspace per client
Every client is set up and measured on its own, so its numbers never mix with anyone else’s. This is what each one gets.
Its own workspace. One country and one language per client, from 40 countries and 7 languages, with its own prompts, competitors and history.
Its own competitors. Up to 25 rivals per client, suggested from the client’s website when you set it up.
Prompts from your shared pool. Give a large client 100 prompts and a small one 20. The pool is shared however you like.
All five AI platforms. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity and Grok: ChatGPT and Google AI every day*, the other three every week.
A weekly email per client. Sent to the owners and admins of each client workspace; other members can turn it on for themselves.
Unlimited members. Your team joins every new client with the same role, and people from the client’s side can be invited to their own workspace only.
The site audit. The 18-point AI-readiness audit for each client’s website.
The client’s logo. Upload it to the client’s workspace and it shows in the dashboard. Emails keep the Placton name.
* On paid plans. ChatGPT is read on chatgpt.com in every country Placton tracks except Venezuela and Puerto Rico, where it is asked weekly through its API.
Agency pricing: per client, plus a shared prompt pool
$15 per client a month, plus every prompt in your pool at $1.60 for prompts 1 to 250, $1.30 for 251 to 1,000 and $1.00 from 1,001. Each tier keeps its own price, so a bigger pool never changes what the first 250 prompts cost.

Against one plan per client
10 clients on separate Starter plans would cost $590 a month, with 20 prompts and 2 members each and 10 invoices. On the Agency plan the same 10 clients with 25 prompts each cost $550, with unlimited members and one invoice.
Clients and prompts can be added at any time from Billing. For more than 100 clients, talk to us.
What 10 clients cost on two agency plans
The same roster, 10 clients with 100 prompts each, priced on Placton and on Profound’s self-serve agency plan. Profound checks its three AI platforms every day and includes exports; Placton covers five platforms, three of them weekly, without exports.

How agencies use it with clients
Three moments in the life of a client account: the day you add it, the monthly call and the moment you propose the next piece of work.
Onboard a client in one sitting
- 1
Open the workspace menu and choose “New client”.
- 2
Add the client’s website and keep the competitors and prompts Placton suggests for that market.
- 3
Invite the people on the client’s side who should see it, if any. They never see your card or invoices, and they cannot change your plan.
- 4
Read the first answers from all five AI platforms the same day, and run the site audit.
AI search reporting for clients: a monthly walkthrough
- 1
Start with the trend. The overview: visibility, tone and average position, with their change over the last 30 or 90 days.
- 2
Show the rivals. Competitors: who is ahead of the client, by how many points and on which AI platform.
- 3
Open two answers. One where the client is recommended and one where a rival is. The full text makes the point better than any chart.
- 4
Agree on next month. The weekly ideas and the audit: the two or three fixes you will work on before the next call.
There is no PDF or white-label report to send. Share your screen, invite the client to their workspace or use screenshots; the weekly email keeps them up to date between calls.
Sell the next piece of work
Every weekly idea comes with the figure behind it, which makes it an easy case to put to a client. How each one maps to work an agency already sells:
- “Some sources recommend your competitors and not you”
- Listings, digital PR and review work on the pages AI already trusts.
- “You are mentioned, but your website is not the source”
- Content: comparisons, pricing pages and FAQs that answer in the first sentence.
- “Answers speak badly of you”
- Reputation work: replying to reviews and correcting outdated facts at their source.
- “You appear, but far from the top spots”
- Positioning: proof points on the client’s site (years, clients, results) that give AI a reason to list them earlier.
- “The 18-point site audit”
- Technical fixes: AI crawler access, llms.txt, structured data and content visible without JavaScript.

When another tool fits better
Placton is not the right answer for everyone. Pick something else if:
Clients must only ever see your brand
Placton has no white label: the dashboard and the weekly emails carry its name, and only the client’s logo can be added.
You build client decks from exports
Placton has no CSV, PDF or API. Profound (opens in a new tab)’s Agency Growth plan lists these exports: “CSV, JSON for client workspaces only”, at the price shown in the table above.
You want one dashboard for every client
There is no combined view in Placton. Each client is a workspace of its own, and you switch between them from the workspace menu.
Your clients need Gemini or AI Mode
Placton does not track them. Writesonic (opens in a new tab) tracks Gemini every day, next to ChatGPT and AI Overviews (checked October 19, 2026).
Questions about GEO tools for agencies
About Placton itself? Read the full FAQs or see every plan and price.
What is a GEO tool for agencies?
A generative engine optimization (GEO) tool that tracks how AI assistants answer questions about each client’s market, built to run many brands from one account. In Placton each client gets its own workspace, competitors and weekly email under one subscription.
What do GEO tools for agencies cost, and what does Placton charge?
Agency plans are usually priced per client, per prompt or both, so compare them on the same roster. Placton charges $15 per client a month plus the prompt pool: $1.60 for prompts 1 to 250, $1.30 for 251 to 1,000 and $1.00 from 1,001, a month each. The smallest plan, 3 clients and 20 prompts, is $77 a month, and yearly billing takes 15% off.
How is the prompt pool shared between clients?
However you like: a large client can use 100 prompts and a small one 20, as long as the total stays within your pool. Each client’s dashboard shows how many prompts are left for it.
Is there a white label?
No. The dashboard and the weekly emails carry the Placton name. You can upload each client’s logo, which shows in that client’s workspace.
Can I export reports for clients?
No. Placton has no PDF or CSV exports and no API. Clients can log in to their own workspace and get its weekly email, or you can walk them through the dashboard on a call.
Is there one view of all my clients?
No. Each client is its own workspace, and you switch between them from the workspace menu. There is no combined dashboard across clients.
Can my clients log in?
Yes. Invite people from the client’s team to that client’s workspace: they see only that client, they never see your card or invoices, and they cannot change your plan.
Can my clients be in different countries?
Yes. Each client workspace measures one country and one language, chosen from 40 countries and 7 languages.
How do I try it as an agency?
Start the 7-day free trial with one client’s website, without a card. The trial covers one brand and no team invites; when you are ready, choose the Agency plan in Plans and add the rest of your clients.
How many clients can I add?
From 3 to 100 clients and from 20 to 5,000 prompts, in steps of 10, and you can add more at any time. For more than 100 clients, talk to us.
